Nagpur: Wearing black ribbon on their arms, the Resident Doctors students of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Nagpur, staged demonstrations in the college premises on Monday for expressing their anguish against the government regarding the pending demand of hike in stipend.

Except for doctors in emergency duties, all the Resident Doctors participated in the protest. While speaking to Nagpur Today, Dr Ashutosh Jadhav, President of MARD, said that, “As per discussion, sudden proactive agitation or violence from doctors’ side won’t be fruitful as for now.
