Nagpur: In a shameful act an unidentified youth reportedly molested a 15-year-old girl by forcefully holding her hand and behaving objectionably with her on Thursday afternoon.

Police sources informed that, the survivor was returning home at around 4 pm, when the accused aged between 18 and 20 approached her and arrogantly asked her to speak with him. However when the girl refused, he allegedly held her and behaved in an indecent manner.

On reaching home, the girl narrated the incident to her parents, following which they rushed to Kotwali police station and lodged a complaint.

Kotwali police have booked the unidentified accused under Sections 354 (A) and Sub-sections 12 POCSO Act 2012.
