Nagpur News: “He came. He saw. He Did Not Talk.”
The Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Nagpur and met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat at the RSS Headquarters in Mahal. Bhayyaji Joshi was also present during the meetin. The meeting last for two and a half hour. However, the agenda of the meeting could not be ascertained as Narendra Modi did not talk with the media after emerging out from the RSS HQ. He just waved his hands to media and went away in a motorcade.
However, even though the Gujarat Chief Minister did not talk to the media he has left behind many answers. Narendra Modi was the fourth top gun of the BJP to meet the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Earlier, the three other top leaders of BJP. Murli Manohar Joshi, Lal Krishna Advani, and Rajnath Singh had met the RSS Chief in three days. Advani’s resignations from three party posts in protest against Modi’s elevation as National Election Campaign chief. The obvious tussle between Advani and Modi had left several BJP leaders and lakhs of workers uneasy.
The Modi-Bhagwat meeting, according to some BJP leaders, was in the direction of hammering out a solution to the Advani-Modi tussle in order to calm down the uneasiness among several BJP leaders and workers. The meeting also assumes political importance as the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in 4-5 states are coming nearer and nearer. However, the real agenda of today’s meeting of Modi with the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat leaves a scope for a talk of greater proportions among other political parties apart from the BJP itself.
The Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi touched the Nagpur Airport at about 6.30 pm. He was received at the Airport by former National President pf BJP Nitin Gadkari, Mayor Anil Sole, former MP Banwarilal Purohit, MLA Krishna Khopde and other BJP leaders and workers. Modi arrived in a chartered flight.
