Final year engg. Student of Priyadarshini College dies as bike stunt goes wrong

Nagpur News: In a tragic incident an engineering student lost his life, while trying to perform stunts on his bike, while another classmate riding pillion on the motor bike is seriously injured. The incident took place near the Dharampeth bus stop. The deceased has been identified as Ravish Kumar Vakil Singh (21) from Bihar, while the injured student is Sayyad Shadab (21), a resident of Ramgarh, Jharkhand. Both were in the final year of engineering at Priyadarshini College.

Sources here informed that they had gone to visit a friend at the Nagpur Railway Station. They were returning to their flat at Lokmanya Nagar at about 2 am on Sunday. According to eyewitnesses Ravish Kumar was riding the bike.

The speed of the bike was quite high as he was trying to perform a stunt but he lost control of the bike and rammed into the divider. Both were seriously injured and were bleeding profusely.

The Sitabuldi police reached the spot and rushed the youth to the hospital. Doctors pronounced Ravish Singh brought dead, while Shadab’s condition continues to be critical. He is presently undergoing treatment at a private hospital. According to sources he is not recognising anyone and can neither recall the incident.
