While the confusion over which day to celebrate Rakhi prevailed in Nagpur, most of the city women preferred to tie up Rakhis to the wrists of their dear brothers on Tuesday itself. Many others waited for Wednesday to observe the festivities surrounding Raksha Bandhan.
But Jyoti Amge, the world’s shortest woman from Nagpur was among different lot of people who cherished the sweetness of Rakhi on Tuesday and also geared up to make it again on Wednesday. Jyoti and her sister Rupali called upon their brothers to exchange sweet bonding on Tuesday. However they all would actually celebrate Rakhi on Wednesday.

On the eve of their celebration Jyoti Amge tied Rakhi to her brothers Satish and Roshan while their two other sisters Archana and Rupali also cheered the occasion.
Talking to Nagpur Today, Jyoti Amge said, “Actually we too will be celebrated this festival tomorrow (Wednesday). Today we have just marked the beginning of big day ahead.”
