A weeklong student, displaying his amazing and astonishing painting skills, left people wonder-struck and dazed. The 18-year old VII Class student, Akshay Parasram Ghamgaye, is weeklong with both hands and legs. However, appearing for the “Rekha Kala” (Abstract Painting) examination, organized by Directorate of Culture of Maharashtra Government, Akshay displayed his awe inspiring skills by holding the brush in his mouth and passing the “Rekha Kala” Intermediate Grade Examination with aplomb.
The Examination was held at NMC’s Durganagar Middle School in Old Subedhar Layout. The examination is being held since last year by Nagpur District Arts Teachers’ Association. A total of 159 students of NMC’s 18 schools appeared for the examination including 14 weeklong students. The Additional Commissioner of NMC Hemant Pawar phoned and greeted and congratulated Akshay for his outstanding feat in the examination. NMC Education Officer Dipendra Lokhande, Nagpur Division’s Assistant Director Sandeep Dongre, NMC Teachers’ Association President Rajesh Gavare, Chief Secretary Deorav Mandavkar and others were present during the examination.
