In a classic case of cheating and breaking the trust of a friend and business associate, three persons duped their business associate of lakhs. According to information, Balasaheb Dhondiram @ Krishnarao Gaikwad (40) worked in association with Eknath Devaji Kinkar (60), Amit Eknath Kinkar (33), and Asha Eknath Kinkar (55), all residents of Rajalaxmi Vihar, Plot No. 5, Beltarodi Road. Balasaheb has been working with all the three since last 25 years.

The accused brought 3-acres land and had promised to give 50 percent share of the land to him. They took Rs 30 lakhs from him for this land deal between September 9, 2009 and November 14, 2013. However, with evil intentions and ulterior motives, they brought the land on their own names and did not even return Balasaheb’s money. When Balasaheb confronted them, they denied his share and defrauded him by not even return his money back to him.

On the complaint of Balasaheb, Tehsil police registered an offence under Sections 420, 406 and 34 of the IPC against Eknath, Amit and Asha. Tehsil police has booked these three persons.
