Gang booked for abducting media person

Nagpur News.

A 53-year-old mediaperson was reportedly abducted under Sonegaon police station while he was on his way to work. The complainant is Bhagwa Donaji Kohale (53), a resident of Plot No. 242, Bharatiya Vidyaman Road, Shrikrishna Nagar, Wathoda layout.

On November 13, Kohale boarded a bus with his colleague for his office at Wardha Road. When the bus halted at a stop, the accused Sanjay Yewne Patil, Bhaiyyalal Rajput, Deepak Labde, Ramesh Monde, and few of their accomplices forcefully pulled him out of the bus and took him to Turakmari. Kohale somehow escaped from there and lodged a complaint with Sonegaon police.

Cops registered a case and booked the accused under the Sections 341, 143, 365 of the IPC. However, reason behind this abduction is yet not clear to the police. Further investigations are under way.
