Nagpur News.
In a development that could be first of its kind in the history of RTMNU, two women holding top posts were suspended within a month. The first woman to be suspended was Principal of a BEd College and now Assistant Registrar has been suspended. Both the women were suspended on account of financial matters.
The Assistant Registrar Dr Sandhya Chunodkar was found guilty of taking money from hundreds of students for increasing their marks during revaluation. She was accused of taking money from 500 students last year for increasing their marks during revaluation. The Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University probed the matter for nine months and clearly mentioned the Assistant Registrar Dr Chunodkar guilty in its report. The RTMNU, as soon as it found her guilty, suspended her.
It may be recalled, earlier in the month, Principal of Barrister Wankhede College, Dr Vandana Manapure was suspended for massive financial irregularities in the College.
