Pratap Nagar police booked two history-sheeters for demanding extortion money from a middle-aged person.

The accused Mahendra alias Babu Gunwantrao Patle (25) asked the complainant Rajendra Bhaiyalal Yadav (36) to meet him at Sneh Nagar, Wardha Road. Rajendra went there in his Xylo car (MH 31 EA 6566). Mahendra along with his accomplice Rathode (25) met Rajendra and took away his Xylo and demanded Rs 50,000 in return of his Xylo car. It is to be noted that Mahendra and his accomplice Rathode were earlier charged with murder case and have a criminal record.
