Nagpur News : The written secondary school examination (SSC) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education begins from Monday. As many as 2,05,016 students from Nagpur division are appearing for this exam. Out of these, 1,76,808 students are regular while 28,208 are re-examinees.
There would be 744 exam centers in six districts for SSC examination. Last year 2,06,773 students had appeared for exam and total exam centers were 652. This year there is decrease of 1,757 students but there are 92 more exam centers.
Ninety flying squads have been formed by the divisional board to keep vigil on exam centers. These squads include district-wise teams, sitting teams and women’s teams. There is less number of candidates this year as compared to last year but board has increased number of exam centers.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education has appointed counselors at district level. Vishal Goswami has been appointed as counselor for Nagpur district.
