T V Raman Murthy has assumed charge of a new zonal manager of Bank of Maharashtra with effect from June 4.

Raman Murthy has a rich and varied experience spanning 31 years both at branch and controlling office. He is MSc(Agriculture), LLB, DBM, ICWA and CISA.

Murthy joined the bank as agricultural field officer in 1983. Prior to coming to Nagpur, T V Raman Murthy was posted as head of Solapur zone. His areas of specialisation are IT and CISA.

The Nagpur zone of the Bank has a total business of 6,300 crore covering Nagpur, Gondia and Bhandara districts. He would supervise network of 68 branches.
