The dwindling tigers of Nagpur and surrounding sanctuaries and the fragile environment will get a star touch aimed at saving and conserving the both in a big way. Moreover, kids would play a crucial role in spreading consciousness about the environment in a practical and fun way, too.
The Bollywood actress-producer Dia Mirza will attend the ‘Kids for Tigers Camp,’ an initiative launched by “Sanctuary Asia and Save the Tiger”. Dia is in collaboration with the ‘Leave Me Alone’ campaign of the organisation. The Camp is especially programmed for children to spread consciousness which is to be held during the coming weekend in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Dia Mirza will meet the children after a meeting with Praveen Pardeshi, Principal Secretary of Revenue and Forests Department along with the forest staff at the forested border between Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Henceforth, she will join hands with a programme for women forest guards at Nagpur Women’s Boutique, spreading her support and motivating them in their effort towards saving the environment.
