ABVP members protest at RTMNU

600 by 300Nagpur News: Students wing of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarti Parishad (ABVP) staged a dharna in front of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), premises Maharaj Bagh Road on Monday, June 23.  The Academic Council Meeting was scheduled to held on Monday.

The members of ABVP were demanding that the ban on the 250 colleges should not be lifted until these colleges fulfill the criteria and norms set up the university.  The 6166 students of the banned colleges who were not allowed to appear for the examination this year are accommodated in other colleges.

They also demanded the results of summer examination be declared in next ten days, since 92 per cent of the results are still not out even after 45 days of the examination.

The students later on met Acting Vice Chancellor of RTMNU Anoop Kumar and submitted their demands to them.
