Police said that there was known rivalry between the two groups and on Wednesday they attacked each other. As per details, Rajjab Ali alias Mohammad Yunus Ansari (30), a resident of Nari Road, Jaripatka discovered that his indecent photograph was uploaded on a social networking site. He found that the photograph was uploaded by his relative. Thus, on July 20, he approached Shafiq Pasha and a verbal took place between the two. The brawl was settled with the intervention of elder people.However,on Wednesday Rajjab along with his friends was returning home when the accused Shafiq Pasha along with his mates Shahanshan Khan, Mushtaq Khan, Alam Khan, Nasir Khan, Wasin Khan, Mushahid Khan, Hazru Khan, Nehal Pasha, all residents of Kamgar Nagar, Jaripatka, along with Shakil Labbu, and Akhtar Khan, both residents of Aajri Maajri, Yashodhara Nagar, attacked the youths with sharp-edged weapons and wooden rods. Rajjab sustained skin deep injuries on his head, hands and face. The assailants also attacked the youth with sword and tried to kill him. Rajjab’s friend Ejaz Memom also sustained minor injuries. Cops registered an offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324 and 307 of the IPC.

Meanwhile, according to the statements registered by police, it was revealed that Rajjab saw his indecent pictures on Nasir Sagar’s cell phone. Rajjab suspected that Nasir’s brother-in-law might have uploaded it. Rajjab demanded the cell phone number but Nasir refused to reveal the number. This erupted a brawl between Nasir and Rajjab on July 20. On Wednesday, Nasir and his friends came back home. One of his friends used foul language and thus a tiff occurred between Rajjab and Nasir. Rajjab along with his mates Bilal Ansari, Ejaz Memom, Pappu bhai and his mates barged into Nasir’s house and turned it upside down. The accused attacked Nasir with sword-like weapon. The accused also attacked Nasir’s friends and injured them.

Cops were called and they have registered an offence under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 326 of the IPC against the culprits.
