Two minor girls rescued from flesh trade

Freedom Firm, Pune volunteers accompanied by Lakadganj police station staff raided building of Deepak Kesariya, opposite Nagoba Mandir, Ganga Jamuna red light area, Nagpur and rescued 2 young girls who were forced into the trade, on September 11 around 17-35.

The accused woman, Manju Soragsingh Dhanawat, 38, a resident of Pipreta, tehsil Khedagar, dist Agra and presently residing at Ganga Jamuna was found to have forced two minor girls into prostitution.

Woman police sub-inspector, Wankhede of Lakadganj police station has registered the case under sections 344, 366, 372 and 373 of IPC and sections 3,4,5,6,7 of PITA and has arrested the accused woman Manju. The two minor girls rescued in the operation have been sent to Rehabilitation Home.
