A novel and improvised event titled ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ regaled the gathering.
Nagpur Today: The Diwali meet of Oswal Jain Samaj was organized at the GH Raisoni College of Engineering. Reputed Entrepreneur and leading Businessman of the city Surendra Lodha delivered his wisdom filled speech and called the attention of the gathering on very vital concepts like the upliftment of the poor and needy, acquiring and practicing right values and customs which should be imbued by all the families today. He went on to lay special emphasis on the participation of all the families towards the noble deed of social upliftment.
On this auspicious occasion many prominent personalities of the Oswal Jain Samaj made their presence felt which included Social Activist Manish Mehta, Jayant Banthiya, Advocate Jyotinder Gandhi, President of Sthanakwasi Shrawak Sangh Ramesh Bhai Shah, Chairman Rajendra Prasad Baid, President of Prabhat Dhadiwal Mandir Trust Ajeetnath Jain, President of Terapanthi Mahasabha Sunil Chajed, Social worker Inderchand Sawansukha, Managing Director of Karan Kothari Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. Karan Kothari and President of Oswal Panchayat Pankaj Bhansali.
The event commenced with garlanding of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami’s picture and lightning the traditional lamp. This was followed by the introductory speech of Pankaj Bhansasli where he threw light on the fact that the Jain Samaj is one of the most prominent societies today. They have reached the pinnacle of success by sheer hard work and grit. Today the Jain Samaj has proved their excellence and ability not only in the city but in the whole world.
Pankaj Bhansali in his speech boldly dwelt on some of the vital issues in his usual polite oratorical skills saying the present scenario is very bright, however the Jain Samaj still has many more futuristic goals to be achieved. There is a need for the community to be strong and restless accompanied by continuous endeavour till they achieve their goals. He urged the members of the community to bring awareness in the society, that the cohabitation and unity is the only powerhouse for Jain Samaj. Bhansali went on to explain the remarkable work done by the Oswal Panchayat throughout the year.
Suresh Parakh, Taradevi Parakh, Jeetmal Chajed, Dilip Ranka and Yash Kumar Kotecha were presented with the Jain Gaurav Samman for their remarkable contribution during the programme.
The fraternity enjoyed various programmes organized on the occasion. Games like the housie and Rajasthani dance performances kept the audience regaled and thoroughly entertained. Narendra Kothari (Munna) received the appreciation for arranging Kaun Banega Crorepati in novel and improvised manner.
