In our country where the rate of working men is more than working women, even one step towards helping a lady gain her own recognition and work can prove to be of great contribution. One such contribution came forth recently.
COWA – Consortium of Women Architects was launched by renowned architect , women’s right campaigner and conservationist Ar. Brinda Somaya in the presence of Ar. S Deshpande, Dr Chakradeo, Principal of Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture and a host of dignitaries. A website of COWA was also dedicated by her on the occasion.
