Conmen dupe innocent job aspirants of Rs 3 crores

Nagpur: There are many conman who take advantage of the gullibility of innocent youngsters who are ready to pay any price to get a government job. Many do not even bother to ascertain the veracity of the person who claims to be the employers.

Between January 7, 2009 to February 7, 2015 the accused 1) identified as Mukesh Dhruvkumar Meshram aged 35 years and a resident of Bhagwan Nagar, Nagpur, had duped the victim identified as Giridhar Wasudev Ratnadive aged 26 years and a resident of Shikshak Colony, Chimur Wadala, Chandrapur and several others job aspirants to the tune of Rs 3, 00, 00,000/- (Rupees Three Crores). The accused had claimed that there is a vacancy for the post of clerk in his Orphanage (Ashram Shala) with Government Registration No 5474. He had claimed that his orphanage is funded by government grants and aids.

The accused had fraudulently employed the complainant (victim) and other victims in the non-existing Orphanage without paying any salary for over a period of 6 years after getting Rs 3, 00, 00,000/- (Rupees Three Crores) under the guise of employment at his Orphanage office situated at Deepa Apartment, Medical Square falling under the jurisdiction of Imambada Police Station.

Similarly the accused 2) identified as Vijay Kumar Vajpayee had taken Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) from the victim claiming to get the approval from the government for the job. When the victims demanded their money back from the accused 1) Mukesh Dhruvkumar Meshram, he had allegedly threatened to kill the victims.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victims, Police Sub Inspector Vaidhya has registered a case against the accused under sections 420, 506 (B) and 34 of Indian Penal Code. The cops have managed to arrest the accused no 1) Mukesh Dhruvkumar Meshram.
