Nagpur: The victory of Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Admi Party in Delhi evoked frenzied victory celebrations across the cities in India. Activists and workers of Aam Admi Party burst crackers, beat drums and danced away at the party making a clean sweep win in the Delhi elections.
At Nagpur, the scene was not very different. AAP party workers and activists took out a rally with boisterous and elated celebrations with their signature poll tune ‘Paanch Saal Kejriwal’ blaring over loudspeakers accompanied by English music.
The aprty workers and activists donned the traditional white cap with the quote “Mee Swarajya Milaunarach” and “Mee Ahey Aam Admi” in Marathi (meaning: I will get Self Governance and I am Common Man). All the party workers and activists waved AAP flags, Broom and others held photographs of party leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Nagpur activists were seen dancing away to the famous Nagpuri dance on “Sandal” drum beats.
