After beheading of Japanese journalists and Syrian pilots it is now poor migratory Christian workers who are being brutally murdered by the Islamic terrorists. The 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians who had gone to Libya in search of work were herded together, marched to a beach, made to kneel down and then beheaded live on video which was later released to the world through the Islamic network.
In quick response, Egypt’s air force bombed Islamic State terrorists inside Libya on Monday. It was the first time Egypt confirmed launching air strkes against the group in the neihbouring Libya, showing President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is ready to expand his war against Islamist militancy beyond the borders of his coutry Egypt.
Libyan air force also participated in the strikes which were aimed at training sites and weapon storage areas inside Libya where a bloody civil war has plunged the country into anarchy offering relatively safe havens for terrorists.
A Libyan air force commander said between 40 to 50 militants were killed in the attack. “There are casualties among individuals, ammunition and the (Islamic State) communication centres,” Saqer al-Joroushi told Egyptian state television.
“More air strikes will ben carried out today and tomorrow in coordination with Egypt,” he said.
