The Nagpur Loksabha Yuvak Congress Minorities Cell on Friday strongly protested the Maharashtra Government decision to cancel reservation to Muslims. Copies of Government Notification cancelling the reservation to Muslims were torched at Chitnis Park Square by the activists of Nagpur Loksabha Yuvak Congress Minorities Cell led by its President Tanvir Ahmed Vidrohi and Nagpur Loksabha Congress President Bunty Shelke. The activists raised slogans condemning the Government move and demanded immediate restoration of redervation to Muslims.
Others who participated in the protest included former General Secretary Shrikant Dholke, Asad Khan, General Secretary Ritsh Soni, Alok Kondapurwar, Rakesh Nikose, Mujahid Khan, Shahid Khan, Ashish Dixit, and other dozens of activists.
