Nagpur: It took a mosquito bite to wake up Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule to the reality in true sense of the word. As is announced by him, Bawankule spends a night in a village of Nagpur District to ‘feel for himself’ the various development works being carried out there. Whether the village would see development or not is a pertinent question but a stark reality dawned on the minister.
Recently, Bawankule had toured a village named Nandgaon and spent night there. However, the night turned a nightmare for Bawankule as mosquitoes in swarms made his life miserable. A bite or two woke up the minister to the reality and he ordered fogging machine and the fogging a must in every village. Bawankule shared his itching misery at the meeting of District Planning Committee and accepted that the life in a village is difficult. He vowed to make necessary arrangements in 1800 villages of the district to fight the mosquito menace.
