Nagpur: Anti-Corruption Bureau Sleuths nabbed one Senior Clerk of Gurunank High School and Junior College, Bezonbag for accepting a bribe of Rs 2000 from a student of 12th standard today.

According to the report, the complainant a students of 12 standard, Gurunank High School and Junior College, Bezonbag had gone to the school to collect the Hall Ticket (Admission Card). The senior clerk Kuldeepsingh Harbhajansingh, 43 is alleged to told the student to pay Rs 8000 as fee but he would get a receipt for just Rs 6000 and thus demanded a bribe of Rs 2000 for giving the hall ticket.

As the student did not want to give the bribe of Rs 2000, he informed the Anti-corruption Bureau. The ACB laid a trap and caught Kuldeepsingh redhanded accepting the bribe. Jaripatka police have registered an offence under section 7,13(1)(D) along with 13(2) of Anti-Corruption Act of 1988.
