Nagpur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Nagpur Unit, observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to 31, 2015 to mark birth anniversary of Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Accordingly, the ACB gave wide publicity to the event through various media in order to create awareness on corruption evils.
Discussion sessions were organized at RPTS, Dental College, GMCH, IMT College, Katol Road, etc. The discussions were attended by ACB Superintendent of Police Rajeev Jain who also provided valuable guidance to participants.
Similarly, series of lectures were organized at Central India College of Law, Godhni Road, Institute of Science, G S Commerce College, Dhanwate National College, Mundle High School, Wardha Road, as the part of the Anti-Corruption Vigilance Awareness Week. The lectures were delivered by Deputy SP, ACB, Milind Totre.
On Saturday, the Nagpur Unit of ACB organized a programme at Shivaji Hall, Dattatray Nagar, to felicitate the complainants who by their actions facilitated trapping of several Government servants while accepting bribes. The complainants were honoured with mementoes at the hands of ACB Superintendent of Police Rajeev Jain. A large number of police officials and citizens attended the programme.
