Admission process for Class XI to begin from June 8 at various centres in Nagpur

Nagpur News:  The admission process for Class XI would begin from June 8 as the result of Class X was declared . The admissions for Science Stream and Bifocal courses would be completed by Centralised Admissions Committee for Higher Secondary Schools and Junior Secondary Colleges through Centralised Admissions Process (CAP). The students opting Commerce and Arts Streams could directly take admissions to colleges.

The process for distribution of application forms for Science Stream would begin from June 8 to June 30 and would be collected from June 15 to June 30. For Bifocal courses, the forms will be distributed from June 8 to June 23 and would be collected from June 15 to June 23 at various concerned colleges notified by the Committee. The timings for receiving the form are between 11 am and 4 pm. No forms would be distributed on Sundays and holidays. For Bifocal courses, the applications would be received at Congress Nagar-based Dhanwate National College. The committee has announced various centres for where students could get forms for Science and Bifocal Streams. The students can submit the forms at the same time at the centres announced by the Committee.

For Science Stream (English) there are 7407 seats are available in 117 Higher Secondary and Junior Secondary Colleges, Science (Urdu) 215 seats are available in five Higher Secondary and Junior Secondary Colleges, and for Home Science there are 200 seats in five Higher Secondary and Junior Secondary Colleges.

For Bifocal courses, there are 4638 seats in 74 Higher Secondary and Junior Secondary Colleges including 2215 seats for Electronics, 1776 seats for Computer Science, 497 seats for Fisheries (English), 13 seats for Fisheries (Urdu), 85 for Electrical Maintenance, 40 seats for Mechanical Maintenance, and 12 seats for Scooter Maintenance.

SPOT ADMISSIONS: The application forms for spot admissions would be distributed at Dhanwate National College from June 15 to June 23 between 11 am and 4 pm. The check list for Bifocal courses would be put on at Dhanwate National College, New English Higher and Secondary College in Mahal, Sindi Hindi Higher and Secondary College in Pachpaoli, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College, Deeksha Bhumi, and Mohta Science College near Sakkardara Square.

The complaints by students would be accepted on June28-29 between 2 pm and 5 pm. The corrected list would be put on at 2 pm on June 30. The process for spot admissions would start at 8 am on July 1 at Dhanwate National College.
