Nagpur: Admit Card for the admission to MPhil and PhD admission in IGNOU has been released on the official website of ignou.ac.in. There will be a combined entrance test for admission in 22 courses. Entrance test for candidates seeking admission in IGNOU’s MPhil and PhD courses will be held on Sunday, 4 March 2018.
According to IGNOU management, students will have to upload the 9 numbers digit control number before downloading admission card from the website. Across the country there are 13 centers set up for examination. These include places like Lucknow, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna and Bhopal. Examinations will be conducted from 10:00 to 1 am. Total of 4026 candidates will appear for the examination, in MPhil for 65 seats and in PhD for 29 seats.
Students have been advised to check the name and code of their center with the download of admit cards. Candidates should also take photo identity certificates along with the Admit Card to facilitate easy verification process. IGNOU has also released a list of candidates who are eligible to appear in the entrance examination. It can be seen on the official website.
