Advocate stabbed thrice in front of Kalmeshwar Court

: In what could be termed as an act of sheer anger, an Advocate was stabbed by a middle aged man in a fit of rage on April 13, 2016.

The victim is identified as Narendra Srikrishna Vyas aged 49 years and a resident of Gandhibagh, while the accused is identified as Bharat Yashwant Rao Magar aged 56 years and a resident of Shetki Sawangi.

The victim Advocate Narendra Srikrishna Vyas had gone to Kalmeshwar Court was giving evidence. One of the persons from opponent side Bharat Yashwant Rao Magar had also come to the Kalmeshwar Court for giving evidence. Both the accused and the victim had a long term dispute over farm land.

On April 13, 2016, when both the accused and the victim had come for giving evidence, the accused Bharat Yashwant Rao Magar had stabbed Advocate Narendra Srikrishna Vyas on his hands, back and other parts of the body with a sharp-edged knife in a fit of rage.

Sources claimed that Advocate Narendra Srikrishna Vyas himself was accused in one crime which was fixed for evidence today. The senior citizen (accused Bharat Yashwant Rao Magar) related to the case assaulted Advocate Narendra Vyas when he was about to sit in his Wagonor Car.

Immediately after the incident, Advocate Narendra Srikrishna Vyas was rushed to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo) where he is undergoing treatment.

Police Inspector Pramod Madame of Kalmeshwar Police Station is the Investigating Officer and is investigating further.
