Karan Johar, on March 1, unveiled the teaser of ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’. The film is slated to release on Prime Video. KJo, through his narrative, introduced us to 22-year-old Usha (played by Sara Ali Khan) who displayed unwavering courage and deep patriotism for the country during the 1942 Quit India Movement, using an underground radio to unite the nation against the British Raj.
The teaser of Sara Ali Khan’s ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is now out. Karan Johar appears in the video and pays homage to India’s unsung heroes and their untold stories. He introduced the audience to Usha and her inspiring story, which made him recall Sehmat Syed from ‘Raazi’ (played by Alia Bhatt) and Captain Vikram Batra from ‘Shershaah’.

‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ chronicles the remarkable story of a braveheart, Usha, who altered the trajectory of India’s fight for independence.

Directed by Kannan Iyer, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is written by Iyer, along with Darab Farooqui. The film stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role along with Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’Neil, and Anand Tiwari in pivotal roles and a special guest appearance by Emraan Hashmi.
A Dharmatic Entertainment Production, produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ will release on Prime Video on March 21.
