Fresh is always fab, we believe and so does Ranveer Singh. After working with Deepika Padukone in multiple projects, the actor will now have only new pairings in his upcoming movies. So there’s Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy, Sara Ali Khan in Simmba and probably a newcomer in ’83. Movies in the coming years will be surely interesting because there will be an element of surprise in the form of new pairs.
Gully Boy releases on Valentine’s Day 2019 and has Ranveer playing a rapper. It is based on the life of rappers from the streets of Mumbai, Divine and Naezy. Ranveer has been sporting the look for quite some time now. Later, he announced that he is already shooting the film with Alia. There were a few leaked pictures from the sets of the film which gave us an idea that Alia plays a Muslim girl from a slum who has a role in these rappers’ lives. Then there’s Simmba which is an out and out commercial entertainer which will see him pitted against Sara Ali Khan. The announcement about the female lead was confirmed today. This again will be a great pairing to look forward to. Ranveer will play a mad cop in the film while Sara will be his muse. Temper, the original Telugu film, was a hit and thus the probability of it making much noise at the box office is high.
If we talk about ’83 now, the film is yet to get a female lead but rumours are abuzz that the makers are going for a fresh face. If that’s the case, Ranveer will have another new girl to partner with in his third film. Gully Boy is already being shot while Simmba will go on the floors in April. As for ’83, there’s still time for the film to hit the floors.
