Nagpur: When he started his speech, an attempt was made to disrupt his programme. JNU student’s wing president Kanhaiya Kumar was addressing at the Dhanwate Hall in Nagpur on Thursday. Kanhaiya Kumar said “Nagpur is Ambedkar’s land not Golvalkar’s.”
He attacked RSS in his speech and said that “Sangh headquarters is not Parliament and manu smriti is not Constitution.”
There was a huge response to the programme.

About 15 men shouted slogans and were evicted from the hall. Kanhaiya Kumar’s speech was disrupted. Eye witnesses say a shoe was thrown at Kanhaiya at the venue.
An electrifying atmosphere was witnessed at the hall.
A person tried to attack Kanhaiya and entered the dais apparently with a stick. There was chaos all around the venue.
Earlier in the Morning when Kanhaiya Kumar arrived in Nagpur to a hostile protest by Bajrang Dal activists who tried to stop his vehicle as he entered the city.
Police piled security forces and took as many as 6 agitating Bajrang Dal members under custody. The activists were wary of Kanhaiya entering the city as they raised concerned that his visit to Nagpur might disturb the peace and harmony in the city. The saffron activists came out on streets chanting Jai Shri Ram and tried to block his way.
