Nagpur: The Central Railway Division has announced a major traffic and power block at Ajni Station to facilitate redevelopment work. As part of this plan, platforms 2 and 3 at Ajni Station will be closed for 90 days starting from September 12. During this period, only one track will remain operational for trains on the Mumbai line, and trains will start from Nagpur Station without stopping at Ajni. However, trains arriving at platform 1 will still halt at Ajni. This is likely to cause significant inconvenience to passengers.
Impact on Train Operations
During this period, trains heading towards Sevagram and Wardha will not stop at Ajni Station.
Trains arriving at Nagpur Station will continue to halt at Ajni Platform 1 according to their regular schedule.
