Alleged Bathroom Video Scandal Rocks Nagpur University Festival: Teacher Arrested

Nagpur: During the ongoing industrial festival at the administrative building of Jamnalal Bajaj of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, a disturbing incident has come to light. A male suspect, identified as Mangesh Vinayak Khapare (37), allegedly recorded objectionable videos of women from the bathrooms during the festival. The accused, employed as an art teacher at a local school, was summoned by the festival organizers to assist in decorating the main gate.

The festival, held from January 27 to January 29 within the university premises, attracted participants from various parts of the country and abroad. However, amidst the festivities, a shocking discovery was made when a young man was apprehended while allegedly filming explicit videos of women inside the bathrooms designated for women in the administrative building.

The victim, a 32-year-old woman who volunteered for the industrial festival, was working as a volunteer in the specially designated industrial festival. She reportedly caught the accused, Mangesh, filming videos on his mobile phone inside the women’s restroom.
Efforts were made by the victim to apprehend the suspect, but he managed to escape. The victim immediately informed relevant authorities about the incident. After reviewing CCTV footage, Mangesh was seen fleeing from the bathroom area. An intensive search of the premises led to the arrest of the suspect. He faced retaliation from enraged individuals at the scene before being taken into custody.

The police investigation revealed that Mangesh had captured approximately 19 explicit videos on his mobile phone. However, due to fear of being caught, he had deleted some of the videos. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough examination to recover any deleted material and ensure justice in this disturbing incident.
