Ambazari Police recover 50 stolen mobiles; return them to owners

Nagpur: It was a moment of rejoice for the 50 Nagpurians who received their stolen mobile phones at a programme organized by Ambazari Police at Police Station premises here, on Thursday. While expressing their gratitude towards Ambazari Police, citizens said that they were first amused on Wednesday, when the Ambazari Police Officials had called them to tell them that cops have recovered our cell phones. We had lost hope and were not expecting cops to trace our phones, they mentioned and appreciated Nagpur Police for their efforts.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 2, Vinita S, Assistant Police Commissioner, Sitabuldi Zone, Trupti Jadhav presided over the function.

Senior Police Inspector Dr Ashok Bagul, PSI Ashish Kolhe, Police Constables Ankush Ghati, Amit Bhure, Romit Raut, Ashish Jadhav, Shobhit Sharma and all the staff of Ambazari Police worked tirelessly during the investigation.

The cops recovered a sum of 50 mobile phones – mostly of students, private employees and senior citizens — worth Rs 12,07,550.
