Girl next door Ameesha Patel whodid her debut in “Kaho na pyaar hai” has a new role to play with “Ameesha Patel Productions’ .Well this 37 year old actress has turned now to be a producer and her first venture will be a film called “Desi Magic” . Ameesha Patel’s maiden home production ‘Desi Magic’ was launched in a typically gala-curtain raiser type fashion.
Ameesha and business partner Kuunal Goomer unveiled the first film to be produced under the ‘banner. Home production ‘Desi Magic’ will see Ameesha in a dual role, and the actress is as excited as she is nervous about her role in the film. The film will also have Randhir Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Sahil Shroff and Ravi Kishan .The film will be directed by Mehul Atha .

“I am completely enjoying the role of a producer. It is fun being part of the narration, giving suggestions, and contributing a lot more than as an actress. It is like taking care of your newborn baby,” the 37-year-old actress said in an interview.
