Nagpur: Mega star Amitabh Bachchan, who kept out of media glare during his arrival in Nagpur on Monday to shoot for Nagraj Manjule’s Hindi movie Jhund, has eventually updated his Nagpur status on social media platforms – Twitter and Facebook
Nagpurians went into sudden craze as they learnt that Big B has arrived in Mohan Nagar locality of Nagpur to shoot for a sequence. The film appeared to have been shot at real location which was the rear side of St John’s School in the area. However, the people were disheartened as they could not catch a glimpse of their reverred star.
But here’s some update on Amitabh’s Nagpur experience.
The millenium star has taken to Facebook and Twitter and posted about Nagpur.
In his Facebook post he wrote, “Nagpur.. for ‘Jhund’… the new project by Nagraj, his first in Hindi, the maker of ‘Sairat’ the Marathi block buster… a centre of attraction… and Nagpur, geographically apparently the centre of geographic India … may the 2 centres thrive!
Big B also wrote similar post on his Twitter handle as well.

It may be mentioned that the film ‘Jhund’ is inspired by the life of a Nagpur football coach Vijay Barse who also promoted underprivileged footballers through his foundation ‘Slum Soccer’.
Interestingly, Barse who is the centre of the plot himself remained aloof of Big B’s arrival in the town.
