Nagpur: Youngster Maria Abbasi, std X student of MSB Educational Institute, made city proud by topping the Nagpur division of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), the results of which were announced on Friday, by the Council for Indian School Certification Examination (CISCE).
Maria secured 96.2 percent, while Anirban Mukherjee, student of Chandadevi Saraf School, came first in std XII (ISC) with 89.40 percent. Dhanraj Shrivastava from same school came second in std 10 with 95.6 percent.
Third position was bagged by Abbas Electricwala with 95.4 percent and Mahima Kadwe came fourth with 95.2 percent, from Chandadevi School.
Though it is not confirmed but Maria and Dhanraj probably are in top 10 in all India in CISCE. It is worth mentioning here the CISCE announced the results a week earlier this year.
The scoring percentile is high this year of all schools and the students too have fared better compared to last year. Now all eyes are on the results of other boards to be announced soon. Anirban Maria Abbasi Shrivastava Abbas
