Another house-breaking theft, thieves loot valuables worth Rs 1.70 lakh

Nagpur News: Unidentified thieves looted cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.70 lakh under Kotwali police station on Monday. According to information, the complainant Shashikant Pundlik Ghotekar (52), a resident of Plot No. S 3, Trimbakeshwar Apartment, Naik Road, had gone to out with his family when some unidentified thieves broke open his house and stole Rs 40,000 cash and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 1.70 lakh from wooden almirah.

Shashikant discovered the theft when he returned home. On his complaint, Kotawali Police registered an offence under Sections 454 and 380 of the IPC.
