Nagpur: A YOUTH was arrested by Shanti Nagar Police for raping a minor girl and sending the video of the act to her father. The accused was identified as Prajyot Harihar Baondole (20), a resident of Shanti Nagar. According to police, the youth and the 16-year-old victim girl were in a relationship for a few months.
On the promise of marriage, the accused got into a physical relationship with her. He recorded a video of the act and forwarded it toher father on WhatsApp when therelationship between the two became strained.

The father was shocked after seeing the video and lodged a complaint against the youth. A case underSections 377, 376 (2) (n) of Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 4, 8and 12 of POCSO Act, Section 67 (b) of IT Act was registered by the police and arrested the accused who who is enrolled in the second year of theB.Com. Further investigation is on.
