Nagpur: In a significant political development on Thursday, Anuja Kedar, wife of former Minister Sunil Kedar, filed her nomination as an independent candidate for the Saoner Assembly seat. Present at the event were prominent leaders, including Nagpur Zilla Parishad President Mukta Kokadde.

It was previously speculated that Anuja Kedar would contest the election on a Congress ticket.
