US tech giant Apple has launched a new app “Airmail”, a lightning fast mail client for Mac and the iPhone to help user manage emails without any hassle by making them in-charge of customisation, including the way to read and respond to messages.
Airmail for iOS, a new email app launched on Monday has everything a user would expect from an app. Gestures like swiping “a little” and swiping “a lot” and the display order of conversations are some of its key features, Wired online reported.
“Designed for the latest generation iPhone and iOS9, it supports 3D Touch, fast document previewing, high quality PDF creation, and native integration with other apps and services for a frictionless workflow,” read the description of the app on official website.
Available for $4.99, Airmail acts like it knows email is messy and complicated. Your inbox is filterable due to which you can use the options like “see unread messages only, or things with attachments, or only emails from today, all with one tap.”
The customisable app also has formatting options while composing a new mail and an additional features set like snooze, interactive push notification, and full inbox sync. Users can also change colours and icons of the app.
Airmail for iOS is great because it has no agenda – it is a junkyard for your email, for you to deal with any way you want. Everyone is going to use it differently, and that is beautiful, the report said.
If you have a query, the Airmail team has also provided a live chat option on the official webite of the app.
