Nagpur: The Day-2 of Youth Festival – ‘Spandan- 2017’ being organized by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall here saw “Swasth Jeevan Samruddha Jeevan” Dindi being taken out. The ‘Arogya Dindi’ gave health related messages with placards and informative slogans raised by students.
The ‘Arogya Dindi’ (Health March) was flagged off by MUHS Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Mohan Khamgaonkar. Other dignitaries present on the occasion include Dr Manisha Kothekar, Dr Yeshwant Patil, Dr Milind Deshpande, Dr Nitin Gagne, Dr Usha Radke and others.
The participating students of colleges were provided the concept of informative awareness. Various tableaus, created by participating students, marched with the ‘Arogya Dindi’ depicting the awareness concept. The students in traditional attires were attraction of the event. The students also demonstrated Yogasanas, stretching, jogging, cycling and other exercise forms.
The ‘Arogya Dindi’ commenced from Vasantrao Deshpande Hall and traversed through Ahimsa Square, WHC Road, Law College Square, RTO Road, Bhole Petrol Pump, East High Court Road, Rajarani Square, Temple Road and culminated at New MLA Hostel, Over 1500 students participated in the Dindi.
