Nagpur: Sadar police have launched a search of an auto driver who outraged modesty of a teenage girl travelling in his vehicle on Monday afternoon.

The 17-year-old girl boarded the auto from Agrasen Square for returning home from her maternal aunt’s house around 1 pm on Monday. As the auto reached near a shop named Laxminarayan in Sadar area, the lewd auto driver aged 40-45 stopped his vehicle and indulged in obscene acts. The ashamed girl raised hue and cry and later lodged a complaint with Sadar police in this regard.

Sadar police constable Premkumar has booked the accused auto driver under Sections 354(A)(1) of the IPC read with Sub-Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and searching for him.
