In connection with the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking a special awareness session was organized for the students of Grades IX-XII to strengthen global action and build their cooperation to achieve a drug-free world.
Nagpur Customs division of ICD MIHAN and Education Department has taken up this initiative to sensitize the student community.
Mr.Avinash Pandey, IRS, Deputy Commissioner of ICD Nagpur in his address to the students emphasized the need for understanding the damaging effects of substance abuse and avoid it at all costs. He guided the students to develop positive mind-set and healthy habits for a better lifestyle. He also administered a pledge to safeguard against drugs on the occasion.
Principal Ms.Nidhi Yadav appreciated the efforts of the team of ICD, MIHAN and Education Department and thanked the President and Pro-Vice Chairperson Ms.Tulika Kedia for encouraging these initiatives by the school which highlights the commitment of the school for developing comprehensive strategies to combat these global issues effectively.
