Nagpur: An aircraft, which took off from Chittagong in Bangladesh and was heading for Dubai, made an emergency landing at the Nagpur Airport on Thursday after a technical defect in one of the engines. The US-Bangla Airlines plane had 175 passengers and 6 crew members, a report said.
The plane made an emergency landing at around 10.30 am at Nagpur Airport and the passengers were shifted to another aircraft at around 8 pm.
During the nine-hour stay at the airport, the passengers remained in the transit area, said the report.
In 2021 a Biman Bangladesh aircraft had made an emergency landing at Nagpur after the pilot had suffered a heart attack in mid-air.
