Bawankule felicitates 49 persons who donated organs

Nagpur: Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday felicitated 49 persons who donated their organs to needy patients. The function was held at Government Medical College and Hospital auditorium. GMCH Dean Dr Abhimanyu Niswade, IMA (Nagpur Branch) President Avinash Wase, Dr Anup Marar, Dr B G Waghmare and others were present on the occasion.

“Organ donation needs to be made a people’s movement. Efforts should be made to inspire each and every person to donate their organs. Organizations working in medical field should strive hard for creating awareness on organ donation,” Bawankule exhorted.
