Bawankule reviews progress of NIT’s development works

Nagpur: The Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Tuesday reviewed the progress of development works being undertaken by Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) in the adjoining rural areas. Bawankule reviewed various road works such as tarring, water supply and distribution of pattas. The meeting was attended by NIT Chairman Dr Deepak Mhaisekar and Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar among others.

The minister reviewed tarring of road from Umred Road to Bahadura, bypass to Bahadura village, road from Bahadura to Pandhurna Tarodi, Umred Road to Amma Dargah, Umred Road to Vinoba Nagar, Umred Road to Dighori Sanjuba High School and other development works at different places.

Similarly, Bawankule directed the NIT officials to distribute pattas to 260 poor people under Bhilgaon Gram Panchayat and remove difficulties being faced by people in Prime Minister’s Housing for All scheme. He also directed to complete the administrative procedures in this regard. Bawankule said he is going to convene a meeting to review development and beautification works at Motha Tajbagh on March 27.

Bawankule pays a surprise visit to Tehsil office in Kamptee:

The Guardian Minister Bawankule paid a surprise visit to Tehsil office in Kamptee and found 80 percent of employees “missing” from duty, total mess, unclean atmosphere. The ‘late-lateef’ officials, and employees drew an immediate flak from the minister who put the truant babus on notice. He directed the higher-ups to take stern action against ‘late-lateef.’
