Nagpur: Lahukumar Behete on Thursday took charge as Chairman of NMC’s Fire and Emergency Services Committee in the presence of Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Deputy Mayor Deepraj Pardikar, Standing Committee Chairman Vicky Kukreja, Ruling Party Leader Sandeep Joshi, Chief Fire Officer Rajendra Uchake, and others.
Speaking after taking charge, Behete expressed his gratitude towards party for bestowing on him the responsibility as Chairman of Fire and Emergency Services Committee. “I will try my best to prove himself equal to the trust shown on me by the party. The NMC’s Fire and Emergency Services Department will be on par with the best,” Behete declared.
