Nagpur: Terming the Budget presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday in line with the “Niyati” and “Niti” (Destiny and Policy), the Vice President of CAIT B C Bhartia gave thumbs up to the Budget.
“The Budget has provided relief to all sections of people as no additional tax burden has been imposed. The Budget focused on farmers, youth skill development and job opportunities. Several schemes aimed at corruption free and simple governance have been initiated. If the presented Budget is implemented in letter and spirit, the nation will certainly march towards economic and social development,” asserted Bhartia, Vice President of Confederation of All India Traders.
“The Budget is good news for housewives, farmers, educational sector, and youth. People of all levels can now seek loans from banks. The proposed new law on check bounce will certainly provide great relief to traders,” said Bhartia.
“However, the rider that the traders will have to make transactions above Rs 10,000 by cheque only will put them in a fix.
Currently, most of the transactions are done in cash. It will take some time to blend with the new trade scenario,” Bhartia said.
