Bhim Sena undertook a massive morcha against Spanco protesting the company’s anti-consumer actions. The morcha started from the statue of Bar Khobragade, Indora and culminated at Collector’s Office. The morcha was undertaken under the leadership of Shridhar Salve, President of Shiv Sena, Manoj Bansod, In Charge of Nagpur and Rajesh Nagrale, President Bhim Sena, North Nagpur.
The main demands of the Bhim Sena included cancellation of agreement with Spanco, handing over of power supply to MSEDCL, removal of Spanco power meters and replacing them with old MSEDCL meters and others. The Bhim Sena has appealed the consumers to contact the following number if they have any complaint against Spanco: 7588073782, 8928080541, 9372241413, 9822495727 and 8888270125.
